Jan Cornelius van Hof is the visionary CEO of Orbito, where he is leading the charge in revolutionizing the future of soft robotics. With a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering, Jan holds a Master’s degree from Delft University of Technology, one of the top engineering institutions in Europe. His journey in robotics began with an intense passion for designing systems that bridge the gap between technology and human needs.

Prior to founding Orbito, Jan held the position of Head of Innovation at FlexiTech Solutions, a global leader in robotics and automation. At FlexiTech, he led groundbreaking projects in adaptive robotics, particularly in the automotive and aerospace sectors, where his work revolutionized manufacturing processes with precision and efficiency. Jan’s experience in developing flexible, adaptive technologies has been instrumental in shaping Orbito’s mission of delivering cutting-edge, intelligent robotic systems that interact seamlessly with human environments.

Oliver Mathis

As Orbito’s Chief Technology Officer, Oliver Mathis brings a wealth of experience in advanced robotics and AI-driven systems. Holding a PhD in Robotics and Machine Learning from ETH Zurich, Oliver has spent over a decade leading innovative tech projects that merge intelligent systems with real-world applications. His passion lies in creating soft robotic solutions that not only perform with precision but also learn and adapt to complex environments.

Before joining Orbito, Oliver served as the Lead Robotics Engineer at NextGen Automation, where he developed cutting-edge adaptive robotics for sectors such as healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing. His pioneering work in AI-integrated robotics has reshaped how robots interact with dynamic environments, pushing the boundaries of what autonomous systems can achieve.

At Orbito, Oliver oversees the company’s R&D and technological roadmap, ensuring that the company stays at the forefront of soft robotics innovation. With a background in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s degree from MIT, Amara brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership. Her career spans over a decade in operational leadership roles, where she has consistently optimized processes to drive innovation and efficiency.

Before joining Orbito, Amara served as Director of Operations at InnoDynamics, where she led multi-disciplinary teams and streamlined manufacturing processes for cutting-edge robotics products. Her deep understanding of operational efficiency and team management has made her an invaluable asset in scaling Orbito’s projects from concept to reality.
